The ColdChainer Briefing
Chillventa is NürnbergMesse's biennial international exhibition for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps, filling the Nuremberg exhibition centre with refrigeration systems, components, compressors, cold rooms, controls and heat-pump technology, alongside the Chillventa Congress and specialist forums. It is the largest and most international gathering of the refrigeration-technology industry.
Every cold chain rests on refrigeration plant, and Chillventa is the global showcase where that technology - refrigerants, energy efficiency, natural-refrigerant systems, cold-storage and monitoring equipment - is set for the industry. For cold-store operators, food and pharma logistics providers and the engineers who build temperature-controlled infrastructure, it is the key international sourcing and technology event, though it is adjacent to rather than about logistics.
Refrigeration and HVAC-R engineers, contractors and plant designers, cold-store and food-industry technical buyers, wholesalers and refrigeration-system manufacturers, drawn internationally with a strong European core. Attendance is large and strongly technical, centred on refrigeration and cold-storage equipment rather than shippers.
