The Pharmacy Show is CloserStill Media's annual trade and education event for UK community, primary-care and clinical pharmacy, held at the NEC Birmingham. Its agenda is pharmacy business, clinical services, dispensing and NHS policy; cold-chain content is limited to the handling and refrigerated storage of vaccines and temperature-sensitive medicines within the pharmacy.
It is included for completeness as the UK's largest community-pharmacy gathering, where the last-mile custody of cold-chain medicines - fridge storage, vaccine handling, excursion management at the point of dispensing - is a practical concern. It is not a supply-chain or logistics event, and cold chain is a minor sub-topic rather than a track.
Community and clinical pharmacists, pharmacy owners and managers, dispensing and technician staff, plus NHS and primary-care stakeholders; on the supply side, pharmacy-services, wholesaler and equipment vendors including refrigeration suppliers. Attendance is UK-wide and retail/clinical rather than logistics.
