The ColdChainer Briefing
The Air Cargo Forum (ACF) is the flagship biennial event of The International Air Cargo Association, pairing a large trade exhibition with a multi-track conference program. The 2026 edition returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center, following the 2024 Miami staging, and convenes the full air freight value chain: airlines, forwarders, airports, ground handlers, and equipment and technology vendors.
For cold chain professionals, ACF is where the temperature-controlled air freight ecosystem gathers in one place: pharma and perishables handling standards, CEIV Pharma certification, active and passive container technology, and airport cool-chain infrastructure all surface in sessions and on the show floor. Route partnerships, handling agreements, and equipment deals get advanced here, and the forum serves as a read on reefer air capacity and lane reliability heading into 2027.
The room is senior commercial and operations leadership from cargo airlines, freight forwarders, airport authorities, and ground handlers, alongside product and business-development teams from ULD, container, and monitoring vendors. Pharma shippers, cool-chain solution providers, and IATA/CEIV and regulatory representatives also attend. Seniority skews to director, VP, and C-level given the biennial cadence and global draw.
