Trade Fair Aalsmeer is Royal FloraHolland's flagship annual floriculture trade fair, staged in the halls of its Aalsmeer flower marketplace, the largest in the world. The 2026 edition runs three days and typically draws around 700 exhibitors and 22,000 trade visitors across roughly 29,000 m2. Exhibitors are growers, breeders and suppliers presenting cut flowers, potted and bedding plants alongside floriculture supply-chain services.
Cut flowers and plants are among the most time- and temperature-sensitive perishables in global trade, and Aalsmeer is the central clearing node, so what moves here sets volumes and routing for the European and export flower cold chain. The fair is where growers, exporters and logistics providers align on the coming season's assortment, packaging and distribution. Reefer, air-freight and cold-storage capacity for floriculture is effectively benchmarked around this marketplace.
The room is grower and breeder commercial teams, export and wholesale buyers, and floriculture handling and logistics providers. Attendance is trade-only, weighted to the Dutch and wider European flower trade with significant international export buyers. Titles run from sales and category managers to procurement and supply-chain leads.
