Overlaps withCold Chain Unbroken 2026
Uruguay Best Practices in Pharma Supply Chain is the country's flagship pharmaceutical-industry event, held for its 7th edition on 10 September 2026 (08:30-17:00) at the Criolla Elías Regules in Montevideo. Convened by national investment and export agency Uruguay XXI alongside ADIUM and a roster of pharma companies (AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, GSK, Merck, Megalabs, Roche, Pfizer) and logistics body Inalog, it is a one-day best-practice conference rather than a trade exhibition. It carries designated status as an event of national interest.
Uruguay positions itself as a regional pharma logistics and transit hub - the sector spans over USD 1 billion in transit trade, more than USD 270 million in exports and roughly 6,500 industry workers - so the event is where regional supply chain, GDP-compliant distribution and temperature-controlled handling practice get benchmarked. For a cold chain professional it is the primary window into the Uruguayan and Southern Cone pharma distribution market, its regulatory posture and its free-zone transit corridors.
The room is pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry leaders, logistics and supply chain specialists, government officials and academics, drawn largely from Uruguay and the wider Latin American market. The convening pharma multinationals and Uruguay XXI's trade-promotion mandate skew attendance toward commercial, regulatory and distribution decision-makers rather than pure operations staff.
Early-bird USD 100 through 31 July 2026; standard USD 120 thereafter.
