The ColdChainer Briefing
One stop in the Global Cold Chain Alliance's recurring Cold Chain Connection series of regional events. The Southeast edition opens with an evening reception and runs a morning-to-early-afternoon programme: an association update from GCCA's leadership, a poultry and agribusiness market outlook, a panel on AI, automation, technology and energy strategies in cold storage, and warehouse legal case studies on insurance and claims.
It is a compact way into the GCCA network for the Southeast's cold-storage and refrigerated-transport operators. The sessions focus on the operating questions those facilities face now (automation, energy costs, claims exposure) and on demand drivers such as poultry, which is a major frozen and chilled flow in the region.
General managers, facility managers and technology, security, engineering and operations leaders from temperature-controlled warehousing and transportation companies, plus industry solutions providers. Open to GCCA members and non-members; a warehouse executive roundtable within the programme is by invitation.
