The Pharma Supply Chain & Logistics Innovation Programme (PSIP EU) is World BI's annual European pharma distribution summit, staged at the Movenpick Hotel Basel. It runs as a compact two-day format for roughly 150 senior delegates and around 35 speakers, covering cold chain transport, IoT temperature monitoring, GDP compliance, serialisation/traceability and supply chain digitalisation. The April 2027 edition continues a programme that has run annually in Basel.
Basel is a hub of European pharma manufacturing, so the agenda tracks how the region's shippers, 3PLs and carriers are handling temperature-controlled distribution, real-time monitoring and GDP-driven lane qualification. Sessions on next-generation cold chain, predictive analytics and blockchain traceability signal where pilot budgets and vendor selection are heading. The small format lets attendees benchmark carrier, packaging and monitoring choices directly with peers.
The room is senior pharma and biotech supply chain, logistics and distribution leaders, alongside 3PLs, cold chain carriers, and packaging and monitoring vendors. World BI pitches it at decision-maker level - heads of supply chain, logistics directors and cold chain managers. Capped attendance keeps it buyer-heavy rather than mass-exhibition traffic.
