CFIA Rennes is the leading French trade fair for suppliers to the food and beverage manufacturing industry, running its 30th edition on 9-11 March 2027 at Rennes Parc Expo. It gathers roughly 2,000 exhibitors across 50,000 m2 in 12 halls, organised by GL events, and drew 23,959 visitors in 2026. The show is structured around three pillars: Ingredients & PAI, Equipment & Processes, and Packaging.
The cold-chain content sits in the Equipment & Processes halls, where industrial-refrigeration, process-cooling, freezing-tunnel and cold-room vendors (e.g. MCI, Intarcon, Agro Froid International) exhibit. It is where French food processors specify and buy refrigeration and freezing plant, plus thermal/insulated packaging on the packaging side. It is an upstream process-refrigeration show rather than a logistics or distribution cold-chain event.
Attendees are predominantly French and European food and beverage manufacturers - production and plant engineers, maintenance, R&D/product development, packaging and procurement roles - alongside the equipment, refrigeration and packaging vendors selling to them. Seniority skews technical and buying-side within processing companies rather than logistics or 3PL operators.
