A one-day summit (9am-4pm) from the Cold Chain Federation, the UK trade body for temperature-controlled storage and distribution, themed 'Shaping a sustainable, resilient cold chain'. Presentations and panel discussions address the sustainability and energy issues facing the sector, and the Cold Chain Sustainability Awards run through the day. Exhibition spaces and a vehicle display area sit alongside.
Refrigeration makes energy the largest controllable cost in cold storage and reefer transport, and decarbonisation and refrigerant rules are reshaping both. This is the UK cold chain's dedicated forum for those questions, convened by the body that represents the operators.
